What it does
GSD Core (short for Git. Ship. Done.) adds a structured way of working to AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Copilot.
Each part of a project goes through five steps: discuss, plan, execute, verify and ship. Its makers say this stops the assistant from getting confused in long sessions, gives it memory between sessions, and checks that the code actually works.
An installer sets it up for the coding tool you use, either for one project or for all of them.
