What it does
Gorse is an open-source recommender system, the kind of software that powers "you might also like" suggestions. You feed it your items, users and their actions, such as likes or views, and it trains models to recommend items to each person.
It can mix several kinds of suggestions, such as newest items, similar items and what similar people liked. It can also handle text, images and video by turning them into embeddings (number codes that capture meaning).
It comes with a dashboard for editing the recommendation pipeline, monitoring the system and managing data.
