What it does
Add "1s" after "github" in a project's web address and GitHub1s opens it in a familiar VS Code-style editor in your browser. You can browse files, search code and look at changes without downloading anything.
A built-in AI chat can give an overview of the project or explain a file. You connect it to an AI model of your choice, and your messages and code go to that model.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants to read or understand code on GitHub, from students to experienced developers.
Can I use it without coding?
Yes. It's a website; just change a link. The AI chat needs you to set up a model. New to this? Start here.
