What it does
FluidVoice is a voice-to-text app for macOS. Press a hotkey, speak, and your words appear in whatever app you're typing in. It shows a live preview as you talk.
You can choose from several speech models, including Whisper and Apple's built-in speech recognition. A Write Mode can write or rewrite text in any text box, and a Command Mode lets you control your Mac by voice.
Its makers say your voice and text stay on your Mac unless you choose to add a cloud AI provider. An optional local AI layer, called Fluid Intelligence, tidies up formatting; the README says this part is kept private rather than open source.
Who it's for
Mac users who want fast, private dictation instead of typing.
