What it does
Flair is a toolkit for natural language processing, getting computers to understand text. It comes with ready-trained models that can spot names of people, places and organisations, judge whether text is positive or negative, and tag parts of speech, in many languages and with special support for biomedical text.
It also lets researchers combine different ways of turning words into numbers and train their own models. It was developed at Humboldt University of Berlin and others.
