What it does
FastGPT is a platform for building AI apps that answer questions from a knowledge base, a collection of your own files. You can import many file types, such as PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and web pages, and it finds the relevant passages when someone asks a question.
A visual editor lets you design workflows by connecting blocks, for multi-step conversations or simple automations. It supports MCP connectors and has tools to test answers, see which sources were used and review logs.
You can use the hosted cloud version or run it yourself. The README is in Chinese.
Who it's for
Businesses and teams who want a customer-service or internal Q&A bot built on their own documents.
