EverRoom

A desktop workspace that keeps your files, conversations, decisions and AI helpers together by project.

What it does

EverRoom is a desktop app for organizing your work so AI can understand it. You bring in files, code folders, meeting recordings, conversations and, optionally, services like Slack, Notion or Gmail. You then group them into a "Context Room" for one project, topic or person.

Inside a Room, it keeps sources, wiki pages, tasks, decisions and memory side by side. Each piece of knowledge links back to where it came from. An AI agent (a helper that can take actions for you) only sees the material for that Room. It can write or edit documents, and you can review those changes.

Its makers describe it as "local-first", meaning your data is stored on your own computer. It can also record audio you choose to capture, transcribe it, and run scheduled tasks. The README says it is still in active development, and macOS is the main target for now.

Who it's for

People who juggle many projects and want an AI helper that remembers context and shows where its information comes from. For now, it suits people comfortable setting up developer tools on a Mac.

Can I use it without coding?
