What it does
Enchanted is a ChatGPT-style app for Apple devices that connects to your own private AI models through Ollama, a free tool for running models on your computer.
It supports voice prompts, reading answers aloud, image attachments, saved prompt templates and conversation history stored on your device. On a Mac it has a quick-access panel from anywhere.
You need to run your own Ollama server. To use it from a phone, the README explains how to make that server reachable over the internet. It also says a newer project, Jaz, is the next version of this app.
Who it's for
Apple users who already run, or want to run, their own AI models and want a polished app to chat with them.
Can I use it without coding?
