What it does
Eino is a code framework for building apps on top of large language models (the technology behind chatbots like ChatGPT). It is written for Go, a popular programming language, and its makers say it borrows ideas from LangChain and Google's agent kit.
It gives programmers ready-made pieces, such as a chat model, tools, and a search step, with versions for OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Ollama and others. These pieces can be joined into step-by-step workflows or into agents that decide for themselves when to use a tool.
Agents can also pause to ask a person for input and then carry on where they left off.
