What it does
Easydict is a dictionary and translation app for macOS. Select text with your mouse, type it in, or take a screenshot, and it detects the language and shows translations.
It can compare results from many services at once, including Apple's own dictionary and translator, Google, DeepL and Bing, and AI services such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek or local models through Ollama. It can also read text aloud.
Who it's for
Mac users who read or write in more than one language.
