What it does
To fine-tune an AI model, meaning teach it a specialised subject, you need many example questions and answers. Easy Dataset creates these from your own documents. It reads files like PDFs, Word documents, Markdown and e-books, splits them into pieces, and uses an AI model to write questions and answers about each piece.
It can make single questions, multi-turn conversations and image-based questions, and can clean and tag the data. Newer versions also build test sets and score how well models answer, including a blind side-by-side comparison of two models.
Results can be exported in common training formats or uploaded to Hugging Face. It works with many AI providers, including local models through Ollama.
Who it's for
People preparing data to fine-tune or test AI models, from researchers to companies with in-house documents.
Can I use it without coding?
