Add-ons for AI coding tools

dsh-TUI

A friendlier text-based chat screen, with a pixel whale mascot, for the DeepSeek Harness AI assistant.

What it does

dsh-TUI is a plugin for DeepSeek Harness (DSH), an AI assistant that runs in the terminal, the text-only window where you type commands. It replaces the plain screen with an interactive one. That screen shows live progress, the AI's reasoning as it streams in, and a bar showing how much of the conversation the AI can still remember.

It adds many conveniences. You can click through past turns, rewind a conversation, view images and diagrams, and see math formulas. It can show a desktop notification when a task finishes, and you can manage and resume earlier sessions. A first-run guide helps you set up your key, language, theme and model.

Its makers say it does not change DSH itself, so uninstalling it leaves nothing behind. You can also sign in with accounts from other AI services, such as ChatGPT, Claude and Grok.

Who it's for

People who already use, or want to try, the DeepSeek Harness AI assistant and want a more visual, easier-to-use terminal screen.

Can I use it without coding?

With some setup. You install it with a couple of terminal commands, and it needs Node.js and DeepSeek Harness first. New to this? Start here.
