What it does
Dossier keeps your career history in one profile and turns it into a resume. When you paste a job posting, it shows how you match and drafts a resume and cover letter for that job. Its makers say the drafts only use facts from your profile, and anything missing is shown as a gap instead of being made up.
You can refine the documents in a chat, download them as PDFs, and track each application on a board from draft to offer. It can also search job sites, find hiring startups, and optionally connect to Gmail, Google Calendar or Claude.
It runs on your own computer or server with one password. You choose the AI model: a local one through Ollama or LM Studio keeps your data on your own hardware, while a hosted one (such as Anthropic, Mistral or an OpenAI-compatible service) receives what it writes from.
Who it's for
Job seekers who want help writing tailored applications and keeping track of them, while keeping their data under their own control.
