What it does
Diffusers is a Python library from Hugging Face for working with "diffusion models", the kind of AI behind tools like Stable Diffusion. These models create images, video or audio by starting from random noise and gradually refining it into a picture or sound.
With a few lines of code, a programmer can load a ready-made model and turn a text description into an image. The library also offers interchangeable parts for building custom systems, plus guides for making models faster, using less memory and training your own.
It connects to the Hugging Face Hub, where thousands of ready-made models can be downloaded.
Who it's for
Programmers, researchers and artists who code and want to build or experiment with AI image, video or audio generation.
