What it does
DeskcommCRM is a CRM (customer relationship management software, a tool for tracking customers and sales) that runs on your own rented server. It connects to your WhatsApp number, so AI agents can reply to customers, sort out who is a serious buyer and help close sales. The makers describe it as an open alternative to paid tools like Kommo, Octadesk and Intercom.
It includes a shared inbox for chats, a sales pipeline you can organize, and automation rules in a 'when / if / then' style. The makers say there is no monthly fee and no locked features, and your data stays with you.
Setup uses an installer script that asks for your domain, keys and admin password, checks each answer, and starts everything with automatic HTTPS (a secure web connection). Updates can be started from a button inside the app, which backs up the database first and rolls back if the new version breaks.
Who it's for
Businesses that sell through WhatsApp chats and want their own CRM with AI agents instead of a paid subscription service. Some comfort with renting a server and following terminal steps helps.
Can I use it without coding?
With some setup. You need to rent a server, connect to it and run an installer script, but you don't have to write or build any code. New to this? Start here.
