The Day Trader skill

A set of eleven Claude add-ons that help you find, plan, test and place day trades, with your approval.

What it does

This is a pack of eleven "skills" (add-on instructions and small tools) for the Claude AI assistant, aimed at day trading stocks. They read free public data such as Yahoo Finance charts, Nasdaq symbol lists, SEC company filings and Congress's stock-trade disclosures.

Each skill does one job: scanning charts for patterns, tracking news, timing an entry, setting a stop and target, sizing a position to your budget, checking your risk limits, setting price alerts, summing up earnings reports and reading Congress trade filings. A "Time Machine" skill replays a trade thousands of times using the stock's recent price history to show rough odds.

The makers say nothing can place an order on its own: orders go to your broker only after a risk check and your typed yes, and paper trading (practice with pretend money) is the default. The README stresses it is not financial advice and that most day traders lose money.

Who it's for

People who use Claude and want help researching and planning stock day trades, especially those willing to start with practice trading.
