What it does
Cube Core is a 'semantic layer': a shared dictionary of a business's numbers, such as revenue or active customers, and how each is calculated from the company's databases.
Once those definitions are written, dashboards, custom apps and AI agents can all ask Cube for the numbers and get the same answers, quickly, without each one re-creating the calculations.
It works with most databases and data warehouses. The makers also sell a full analytics product built on top of it.
Who it's for
Data teams and developers building dashboards, analytics features or AI agents that answer questions about business data.
Can I use it without coding?
Developers only. Definitions are written as code, and it runs on a server, usually with Docker. New to this? Start here.
