Add-ons for AI coding tools

Context7

Feeds your AI coding assistant current documentation for the software libraries you use, so its answers aren't out of date.

What it does

AI models learn from data that can be a year or more old, so they sometimes suggest outdated code or invent functions that don't exist. Context7 fixes this by fetching up-to-date, version-specific documentation and code examples and handing them to your coding assistant.

You add "use context7" to a request, or set a rule so it happens automatically, and the assistant looks up the right library before answering. You can also name an exact library or version.

It can be set up as a skill that uses a small command-line tool, or as an MCP server, a standard way to give AI assistants new tools. A free account key gives higher usage limits.
