What it does
Concat is a video editor in the style of CapCut, made for things like TikToks, Reels, YouTube videos and podcast clips. It has the usual editing tools: cutting, multiple tracks, titles, effects, transitions and export up to 4K.
It adds AI features: automatic captions, text-to-speech voices (including copying a voice from a short recording), background removal, and one-switch voice cleanup. The AI models download once from the settings and then work offline.
Its makers say everything runs locally, there are no watermarks or accounts, and your footage never leaves your disk. AI agents can also edit videos with it through a built-in connector. It is in beta.
Who it's for
Creators and anyone who edits short videos and wants a free, private alternative to online editors.
