What it does
AI coding services like Codex and Claude Code have usage limits that reset over time. CodexBar sits in the Mac menu bar and shows each provider's remaining usage and when it resets.
It can also show credits, spending and service outages. Its makers say it reuses your existing sign-ins, so it doesn't store passwords. A Linux version is also available.
