CodeCompanion

Brings AI chat and coding agents into the Neovim code editor.

New this week

What it does

CodeCompanion is a plug-in for Neovim, a text editor popular with programmers. It adds an AI chat window, inline code edits and tools that help the AI understand your project.

It works with many AI providers, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, GitHub Copilot and local models through Ollama. It can also connect to coding agents like Claude Code and Codex, and lets you review and approve the code they write.
