What it does
ClawRouter is a router for AI language models. For each request, it decides on your computer which of many models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others can do the job most cheaply. Its makers say this cuts AI costs by up to 84%.
It is aimed at autonomous AI agents. Instead of an account, an agent can pay per use with a digital wallet using USDC, a cryptocurrency pegged to the US dollar. People can also sign up and pay by credit card.
The README says several models can be used for free with no signup, key or wallet.
Who it's for
Developers running AI agents who want to lower model costs or let agents pay for their own usage.
