What it does
ChatRWKV is a chatbot built on RWKV, an open AI language model. Most chat models use a design called a transformer; RWKV uses an older design called an RNN.
Its creator says RWKV matches transformers in quality while being faster and using less graphics card memory. The repository has demo scripts for chatting with the model and building your own.
The README links to online demos, the model files, and community projects including a phone app and an easier desktop interface.
Who it's for
Developers and researchers interested in running or building on RWKV models.
