What it does
ChatLab is a desktop app for looking into your own chat conversations. You export your chat history from apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Instagram, LINE, QQ, iMessage or Google Chat and load it in.
It shows charts of trends, busy times, who talks most and more. An AI assistant can search, summarize and analyze your chats when you ask it questions.
Its makers say your chat data and settings stay on your computer by default, and it is built to handle very large histories.
Who it's for
Anyone curious about patterns in their own chat history, and researchers studying conversation data.
