What it does
ChatGPTBox adds an AI chat box to your web browser. You can open it on any page with a keyboard shortcut, summarise a page from the right-click menu, or select text to translate, polish or explain it.
It also adds AI answers alongside search engine results and works with sites such as YouTube, Reddit and GitHub, for example to summarise videos. It can use many AI services, including ChatGPT, Claude and your own self-hosted or local models.
Its makers say the extension doesn't collect your data and only sends page content to your chosen AI service when you use an AI feature.
