What it does
AI coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode each keep their settings in text files that are fiddly to edit by hand. CC Switch puts those settings behind one desktop app.
With it you can switch which AI provider a tool uses in one click, and manage add-ons such as MCP connectors (plug-ins that link an AI to other apps), skills and saved prompts in one place.
It runs on Mac, Windows and Linux.
Who it's for
People who use several AI coding tools, or switch between AI providers, and want to avoid editing configuration files.
Can I use it without coding?
With some setup. It's a desktop app you download, but the coding tools it manages run in a terminal. New to this? Start here.
