What it does
CAMEL is an open-source framework for multi-agent systems, where several AI agents talk to each other and cooperate. The community behind it studies how agents behave as you use more of them, including their abilities and risks.
Developers use it for three main things: generating training data, automating tasks, and simulating worlds where many agents interact.
It's mainly aimed at research, with a research paper describing the original idea.
Who it's for
AI researchers and developers who want to build or study cooperating AI agents.
Can I use it without coding?
Developers only. It's a Python library used in code. New to this? Start here.
