CADAM

Describe a part or object in plain English and get an adjustable 3D model you can export and 3D-print.

New this week

What it does

CADAM is a web app that turns text descriptions, and optionally reference images, into 3D CAD models: the kind of precise designs used for engineering and 3D printing.

It finds the important measurements in the design and gives you sliders to change them instantly, without asking the AI again. You can export the result as STL, SCAD or DXF files.

There is a live version to try in the browser with nothing to install. Running your own copy needs keys for several AI services.

Who it's for

Makers, 3D-printing hobbyists and engineers who want a quick way to create custom parts.

Can I use it without coding?

Yes. You can use the hosted version in your browser; self-hosting is for developers. New to this? Start here.
