BrowserOS

A second web browser that your AI assistant can drive to do online tasks for you.

New this week

What it does

BrowserOS neo is a separate browser that sits next to Chrome and is built for AI agents (AI that takes actions, not just answers). You can bring over your logins and bookmarks from Chrome, connect an AI tool you already use, and hand it web tasks such as clearing your inbox or updating a spreadsheet-like tool.

Each agent works in its own tab, several can run at once, and every session is saved like a video so you can replay what happened. Its makers say sessions, screenshots and history stay on your computer, though the app sends anonymous usage events unless you switch them off.

The same project also includes the original BrowserOS, a browser you drive yourself with an AI helper in every new tab, which can use your own AI keys or run models locally.

Who it's for

People who already use an AI assistant and want it to handle web tasks inside their own logged-in accounts.

Can I use it without coding?

Yes. There are downloadable installers for Mac, Windows and Linux; you also need an AI tool to connect to it. New to this? Start here.
