Running AI at scale

Bifrost

A gateway that puts many AI providers behind one connection, with backups if one fails.

New this week

What it does

Bifrost sits between an app and AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and AWS. The app talks to Bifrost in one standard way, and Bifrost passes requests to whichever provider and model is chosen.

If a provider goes down, it can switch to another automatically. It can spread traffic across keys, reuse answers to similar questions to save money, set budgets and usage limits, and connect AI models to outside tools.

It comes with a web screen for setup and monitoring. Its makers say it adds very little delay, and they offer extra enterprise features for large deployments.

Who it's for

Developers and companies running AI apps in production who need reliability and cost control across providers.
