What it does
BenTsao is a research project from Harbin Institute of Technology that adapts open AI models, such as LLaMA, Bloom and Huozi, to answer medical questions in Chinese.
The team built a training set of medical questions and answers from a medical knowledge base and medical papers, then fine-tuned the models on it. Its makers say this improves the models' medical answers.
It shares the extra model files and scripts for testing them. It is a research project, and like any AI, its answers about health can be wrong.
