What it does
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants plug into other tools, such as your files, a web browser, a database or an online service. Each connector is called an MCP server.
This page is a community-curated list of these servers, grouped into dozens of topics such as browser automation, databases, finance, home automation, research and translation. Small symbols show which programming language each one uses, whether it runs on your computer or in the cloud, and which operating systems it supports.
It also points to tutorials, a community forum and a web directory that mirrors the list.
