What it does
AutoRAG Agent searches across what's on your computer, including documents, PDFs and code, plus connected sources such as Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, email, GitHub and Obsidian. You ask a question in plain words and it writes an answer that cites where each point came from.
Its makers say your files are searched where they are, without being copied into a separate database, and that document understanding runs on a small local model so file contents aren't sent away for that step. Answers use either the makers' hosted model plan or your own AI provider key.
It can be used through a desktop app called Dazzi (kept in a separate project), a terminal interface, or as a connector for AI coding tools. The original AutoRAG tool for tuning document-search pipelines is still maintained in the same repository.
Who it's for
People and teams with lots of scattered files and messages who want to ask questions across all of them.
