What it does
Atomic Agents is a code library for building AI agents and pipelines. Its makers compare it to building with LEGO: each piece, such as an agent, a tool or a source of background information, does one job and can be combined with others.
It is built on the Instructor and Pydantic libraries, which help make AI output predictable and well structured. It works with several AI providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini and Groq.
Who it's for
Python developers who want a simple, modular way to build AI agents.
Can I use it without coding?

- Cost
- Free, but needs an AI accountThe software is free, but it uses an online AI service (like OpenAI or Anthropic), which usually charges for use.
- Computer
- An ordinary computer is fine
- Privacy
- Sends what you give it to an online service
- API key
- Needed. An API key is a password-like code from an online AI service. What's that?
