What it does
This is a set of code kits for Apple devices from the company Argmax. WhisperKit turns speech into text using OpenAI's Whisper model, TTSKit reads text aloud, and SpeakerKit works out who spoke when in a recording.
Everything runs on the iPhone, iPad or Mac itself, so audio doesn't need to be sent to the cloud. There are also command-line tools and a local server for apps that aren't built for Apple.
Argmax also sells a Pro version with extra features, such as live transcription with speaker names and Android support.
