What it does
Archon is a workflow engine for AI coding agents. You write down your development process as a simple workflow file, for example plan, build, run tests, review and open a pull request, and Archon runs it the same way every time.
Its makers say the problem it solves is that AI agents behave differently on each run and may skip planning or testing. In Archon, fixed steps like running tests mix with AI steps like writing code, and it can pause for your approval.
Workflows live in your project and can be started from the command line, a web console, Slack, Telegram or GitHub.
Who it's for
Developers who use AI coding agents and want predictable, repeatable results.
