What it does
AIHawk is a program you run in your computer's terminal, the text window where you type commands. You give it your resume as a PDF, Word file or text file. It writes a search plan from your resume and looks through a large job database that is rebuilt daily. It downloads a job index of about 740 MB, and searches run on your own computer.
It shortlists the postings whose titles fit best. Then it scores each job from 1 to 5 against your resume and lists your gaps and the reasons for each score. You pick the jobs you like from a list using simple keyboard keys.
For the jobs you select, it writes a CV for each job and fills in the application form in a browser window you can watch. It asks you once, with a yes, before sending. The README says results vary by job site, and only some sites have confirmed real sends. It also notes that some job sites do not allow automated applications, so you should read their terms. The applications go out in your name.
Who it's for
Job seekers who are comfortable using a terminal and want help finding matching jobs and filling in applications.
