Chat assistants

AIChat

Chat with many AI models from your computer's command line, and turn plain requests into terminal commands.

New this week

What it does

AIChat lets you talk to AI models from the terminal, the text window programmers use to control a computer. It connects to more than 20 providers, such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and Ollama for local models.

You can ask one-off questions or hold a running chat. A shell assistant turns a plain description of a task into the right terminal command for your system.

It can also read files, folders and web pages, answer questions about your own documents and use outside tools.

Who it's for

People comfortable with the terminal who want quick access to many AI models in one place.

Can I use it without coding?
