AI Website Cloner Template

Gives an AI coding assistant a command that rebuilds a website from its address as editable code.

Fast-rising

What it does

This is a starter project for AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode. You give the assistant a web address, and it recreates that site's look and behaviour as a new, editable website project.

The assistant works in four steps. It maps the site's pages, studies how they look on desktop and mobile, builds matching parts with working buttons and menus, and then checks the result. Afterwards you can ask the assistant for changes.

Who it's for

Web developers who want a fast starting point for rebuilding or redesigning a site.

Can I use it without coding?

Developers only. Needs Node.js and an AI coding assistant with browser access, and produces code you'll need to work with. New to this? Start here.

Can I run it?
