What it does
AgentScope is a framework, a set of building blocks for programmers, for making AI agents: programs where an AI model reasons, uses tools and completes tasks.
Its makers say it is designed to rely on the growing abilities of AI models rather than forcing them through rigid scripts. Recent additions include a leader agent that hands tasks to others, step-by-step procedures, choosing a model per reply, and live voice conversations.
It can connect to agents running elsewhere and to tools shared through MCP, a standard way to plug tools into AI.
