What it does
Agent Sprite Forge is a set of add-on skills for AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex and Grok. You approve one generated picture of a character, and it makes a short video clip for each action, like walking, running, attacking or jumping.
Python tools then clean up each clip. They remove the background, line up the frames, make actions loop smoothly, speed up slow-motion moves to game speed and keep colours steady. The results are exported as transparent PNG frames, animated GIFs or packages for Godot, Aseprite or web games.
It also has a "hibit" style that turns flat AI art into clean pixel art with a small colour palette and an outline. It can make game backgrounds and maps, and can add visual effects using its own image route or the separate pixelfx project.
Who it's for
Indie game makers and hobbyists who want animated 2D characters and maps for their games and already use an AI coding assistant.
Can I use it without coding?
