What it does
agent-device gives AI coding agents a way to use the app they are building. The agent can open the app, read what's on screen, tap buttons, type text, take screenshots and record evidence of what happened.
It works with iPhone and Android simulators and real devices, HarmonyOS, TV platforms, web pages, macOS and Linux. Instead of guessing from screenshots, agents read the app's accessibility information, the labels screen readers use, which its makers say is more efficient.
It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline and other agents, either as a command-line tool, an MCP server or a Node.js library.
Who it's for
App developers who use AI coding agents and want them to test changes in the real app.
