5ire

A desktop AI assistant that works with many AI providers, your own documents and add-on tools.

New this week

What it does

5ire (said "fire") is a desktop chat app that connects to many AI services, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, DeepSeek and local models through Ollama.

It can search your own Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and text files using a built-in model that runs on your computer. Through MCP (a standard way to connect AI to outside tools) it can also reach files, databases and other services.

It tracks how much you spend on AI services, and has a prompt library, bookmarks and search across conversations.
