Tiny-Universe

A Chinese-language course for building a small AI language model, RAG and agent system from scratch.

New this week

What it does

Tiny-Universe is a hands-on guide, written in Chinese, that walks through building the main parts of a large language model system by hand, rather than using ready-made toolkits.

Lessons cover a tiny image generator, how the Qwen model works, pre-training a small Llama-style model, evaluation, RAG, a minimal agent, the Transformer and GraphRAG.

It is aimed at learners who already know some deep learning and want to understand what happens inside.

Who it's for

Chinese-speaking students and developers with some deep learning background.
