What it does
screenpipe continuously captures what's on your screen and what you hear while you work, and stores it on your device. You can then search it in plain language, like "what did I see in the last five minutes?" or "summarise today's conversations".
For companies, its makers say it can map how people work and point out tasks worth automating. It can also give AI agents context about what you do, and connect to Claude and other assistants through MCP, a standard way to plug tools into AI.
Recordings stay on your device by default. Cloud AI, syncing and team storage are separate options with their own data paths.
Who it's for
People and companies who want a searchable memory of their computer work and help finding tasks to automate.
