What it does
This tutorial, nicknamed the "Apple Book", is based on Professor Hung-yi Lee's machine learning course at National Taiwan University, a well-known set of Chinese-language video lectures on deep learning.
The authors selected and reworked the main content, added step-by-step working for every formula, and gave extra explanation for harder topics. Subjects include training tips, CNNs, self-attention and transformers, GANs, diffusion models, BERT, reinforcement learning and model compression.
A free PDF draft is available to download, and an edited version is published as a printed book. The content is in Chinese.
Who it's for
Chinese-speaking students and self-learners who want a clear, thorough introduction to deep learning.
