What it does
Fincept Terminal is a desktop app for financial research. It brings together market data, economic statistics and analysis tools, such as company valuation models and portfolio calculations, in one window.
It includes dozens of AI "agents" for investing, economics and world events. You connect your own AI account key from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google, or use a local model through Ollama. It links to more than 100 data sources, including the World Bank and Yahoo Finance.
This free, open version is aimed at students, hobbyists and academics. The company also sells a separate paid edition with more data and features.
